Cultural analysis of INTERREG III projects
On the basis of a set of selection criteria (for example: a maximum of cultural contrast in terms of perceptions of spatial planning systems and processes - large deviations in practice with respect to the original project plan) INTERREG III projects will be selected and evaluated. The case study projects will be analysed in a cross cultural way. That means for example, an INTERREG project in the Netherlands and Germany will be analysed by a partner from another country.
A minimum of 20 projects will be analysed. The analysis will be executed by all partners and contains per project desk study of documents concerning the case study project and several interviews (on location). Every project will be described at least in terms of cultural differences, impact of the differences on the planning process and ways of managing these cultural differences.
